Our 
Story

Hacienda Chocolat is a woman-owned and family-run small business specializing in the tree to bar chocolate making process in the northeast of Puerto Rico.

We have a cacao farm nestled in the lush mountains of Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Since planting our first trees in 2014, we've cultivated over 4,000 cacao trees using sustainable agroforestry practices.

 

From these trees, we craft cacao based products and artisanal chocolate, both single- estate and single-origin bars.

 

We also offer agrotourism experiences, sharing the magic of cacao through immersive walking tours and events. Visit a cacao farm at the edge of the rainforest, where majestic views of El Yunque blend with the Atlantic Ocean to create an unforgettable experience. Walk among the trees, taste fresh cacao fruit, and discover how chocolate is born. 

Soon we'll be opening ANCESTRAL by Hacienda Chocolat in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Our very own chocolate factory and tasting room. Stay tuned!
